Bike Friday's tandem bikes are built to last. The Traveler models are exceptionally suited for family and recreational use or for serious tours. Unlike other tandem bikes that place children at the same height as adults and depend upon long extensions to fit their short legs, the Traveler actually lowers to fit the child at a height that's right for them. The result is greater safety, more comfort, and the confidence that leads to a lifetime of cycling enjoyment.

The Family Tandem $2275

The Family Tandem is made to be adjustable. The frame and fork are full Chromalloy. This tandem is adjustable for people 5' to 6'5" in the front position (captain). Stoker is adjustable to fit children 36" to 54" tall with the child set-up and up to 6'2" with adult set-up.

Riders in the stoker position under 4'6" should have the Small Child set-up. The Family Tandem is delivered with either an adult stoker set-up or a small child stoker set-up, or both.

These tandems are made in the USA! Green Gear is continuously building and improving The Family Tandem. The Family Tandem can be shipped UPS (not motor carrier freight) quickly from Tandems East to you! (minor assembly required)
